The Story:
Twenty six years ago David sent a bouquet of yellow roses to Sian his friend when the news of her husbands unexpected death reached him. They were both friends of Davids. Every year on the anniversary of her husbands Dave’s death David sent Sian a bouquet of yellow roses. This gift of Davids came every year without fail, a gift of friendship and kindness to a friend in a time of sorrow and remembrance. This is who David was a kind, caring, person who never forgot. A true friend .
The Memorial tribute of the yellow Cassidy Rose in tribute to David was started by Sian soon after the news reached her of David having passed away. She decided she wanted to give that gift back to David in tribute to him as their friend to remember and honor him. A gift fans could have in remembrance of him. To remember David through a Memorial Rose and to extend his legacy of Love, Light, Kindness and Friendship. This is what the Cassidy Rose symbolizes. Without David the Cassidy Rose would not exist.
